A dear friend of mine are moving down to Stockholm to study design at Hyper Island. Yesterday he had his birthday party and I was unable to attend, but I did a quick 15 minute mix for him. And now you can get it as well!

Big thanks to all who came to my DJ-set, it was great to see that so many came that early to party with me! We’ll see each other on some other hot dance floor!
Now I’m off to the Roskilde Festival for another gig, perhaps I’ll see you there as well!
I’ll give you some hints on who I’m talking about; She’ll be 50 next year and she’s not a virgin although she claimed she wanted to be treated as one back in the early 80’s. Yeah I’m talking about Madonna, who used to be on top of what she was doing and always came up with fresh stuff, not sure if it’s because she’s getting old or not but she lost what ever it was she had before.
The Ray Of Light track came out somewhere around the same time I started DJing back in 98 when I was a lot into harder styles of electronic music. And when she dropped the Music record back in 2k she really got me interested in the French electro underground and I re-discovered Mr. Oizo who dropped flat beat the year before. And when she dropped the American Life and Confessions On A Dancefloor records she had once again found new blood to feed the mainstream.
But what the f*ck is she doing now?
Why would someone who always been ahead of her time use producers from last year, or even last decade? The only reason I can imagine is that she’s getting old and has developed a poor music ear. Just like most parents(I’m not talking about my dad) they’re known for not knowing much about modern music or even getting it at all. And that’s probably what’s up with Madonna, she’s too old and can’t keep up with the times so she does like everyone else with poor ideas: hire Timbaland or the Neptunes. That’s not even funny, it’s disgusting!
So I got to think of what I could do with this awesome track and I started to cut and paste as usual and came up with this remix or re-edit, what ever you want to call it.
Enjoy!
Close to three months in the northern hemisphere was awesome. Lots of snow and snowboarding, packed dance floors and tons of satisfied party people. I even played a speaker on fire!
Since I got home from the north I haven’t done much except getting rid of the entire beard! Now I just wear a royal mustache! I’ve also been taking care my puny garden and started to grow some potatoes, tomatoes, peas, strawberries and some flowers are about to go down in the dirt aswell. I’m actually outside in my garden when I write this update drinking a nice cold Newcastle Brown Ale.. Mmmm!
I’ve ordered some new clear vinyl stickers and I’m about to release another mixtape (read cd) that will be available for free at my upcoming shows or at the cost of shipping and handling if you’re unable to come see me perform, so watch out for that! I’ll probably have some free t-shirts around as well so don’t be shy if you’re around!
Right now I got booked to two of the largest festivals in Scandinavia: Peace&Love Festival, Sweden 28/6 Roskilde Festival, Denmark 2/7
I also got some more dates booked in mid July, but it’s summertime so I’m trying to keep the gig dates as few as possible.
Yupp, I’ve gone officially crazy!
Today I’m going on a 20 hour trainride to Riksgränsen, a ski resort 300km north of the polar circle and hopefully become their resident DJ for this season, wich means I’m not coming home until mid-May. I’ve never been that far up north so it’s going to be awesome to finally get some real snowboarding done. I’ll have to post more photos when I return cause this was not taken by me. More photos from Dimrill
Go ahead and download the file and print it on a piece of iron-on paper on your regular printer. And just iron it on your white t-shirt and be as cool as me!
